SHIPPING, DELIVERY + RETURNS

Quality concerns

​We take great pride in the quality and condition of our products and they should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your order, please open it right away and check the contents; if you aren’t happy with what you find, please call us immediately and if possible take some pictures. We will do our best to put it right. If you’d like a replacement order, we can send that out for you or if you would rather just have your money back, we can do that too. ​

Your rights

​If you are a consumer, we are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with the contract. Additionally, for some products bought online or over the telephone, you have a legal right to change your mind and cancel the contract within 14 days of delivery of the product. However, you do not have a right to change your mind in certain situations, for example, where the contract is for:

  • perishable goods (this will include all chilled, frozen products, vegetables + fruit)

  • A subscription service which has been booked for a specific date.

 

Where you have a right to cancel an order / contract and you wish to do so, you simply need to let us know that you have decided to cancel. The easiest way to do this is to contact us by telephone on +44 (0)1223 846129 or by email.

If you cancel your order / Contract we will:

​

  • refund you the price you paid for the products. However, we may reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the products caused by your mishandling of them.

  • refund any delivery costs you have paid, although, as permitted by law, the maximum refund will be the costs of delivery by the least expensive delivery method we offer.

  • make any refunds due to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days after the day on which we receive the product back from you or, if earlier, the day on which you provide us with evidence that you have sent the product back to us.

 

We will refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay. If you used vouchers to pay for the product we may refund you in vouchers.

 

We will always aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours (working days) of confirmation. During busier times, we estimate 2-5 working days. Next-day express delivery is available as an option at cost, as long as the order is placed Monday to Thursday, before 12pm. Orders placed on Friday after noon, including express delivery, will be delivered/shipped from the following Monday.

We always use a certified courier or Royal Mail whom we trust to deliver safely and securely. Orders may require a signature upon delivery; this ensures that your parcel ends up exactly where it needs to be.  Each parcel has a tracking number that we pay close attention to throughout its journey.

For INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING we are very happy to calculate postage costs for you. Please email contact@irislifestyle.store with the item details and the postal delivery address.  We cannot take responsibility for any customs charges so please research if these charges apply to your particular country prior to placing your order as it will be your responsibility to pay for those.

All of our packaging is recycled & recyclable.  We are a planet-positive company and so we do recycle packaging materials where appropriate.  Please try to recycle your packaging too.​

Standard Shipping (Small Goods Up to 2 Kg) - £4.95
Express Shipping, Next Day - £8.95 (Orders must be placed Monday - Thursday before 12pm)

Scottish Highlands, Islands and NI:
Please note that larger or heavier goods may incur an extra fee for delivery to certain parts of Scotland and NI. If you are looking to place an order for delivery to these destinations, please contact us at the office prior to ordering so that we can verify the costs.

 

Channel Islands & Ilse of Man:
Standard Delivery (Small Goods Up to 2 Kg) - £4.95
Tracked Delivery (Medium-Heavy Goods) - £20

Christmas Deliveries

** The last guaranteed posting date for standard pre-Christmas delivery is Tuesday 17th December, for next-day express it's Thursday 19th December before noon. **  Due to possible Royal Mail Postal delays deliveries may unfortunately be subject to those delays - we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

RETURNS​

We hope that you will love your order however, obviously sometimes there are circumstances in which you wish to return something.  If you are not entirely satisfied with your products, and you are eligible within the return criteria above, we are happy to accept returns within 14 days of the original purchase date (not perishable goods such as chilled, frozen products, vegetables + fruit).  Products must be unused, undamaged and in the original packaging.

Please email us as soon as possible at shelforddeli@outlook.com if you’d like to return your products.  Unfortunately, we are unable to cover the return postage cost.  It is your choice to decide how to return your goods but we advise you to insure your parcel as we are unable to issue credit for goods which are lost or damaged in transit.  Please note: the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us therefore, please pack and send goods back as securely as possible and do ask for proof of postage.
 

Allow at least 7 days for us to process your return.  Any postage costs for the original order sent from us to you are non-refundable.  Your refund or exchange will be for the cost of goods only.
 

We are unable to offer a refund or exchange if 14 days has passed from the original purchase date.
 

In the unlikely event that you receive broken or faulty goods please take a photo and email us within 2 days of receipt to shelforddeli@outlook.com We will do everything we can to rectify the issue.
