Do you offer tastings for catering?I’m afraid we don’t offer tastings, but we do have salads instore available to buy if you would like to try our style of food.
-
What are your opening hours? We are open on Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 9am to 4.30pm. We are closed on Bank Holidays, Sundays + Mondays. See our socials for any upcoming events or hour changes.
-
Do you take regular orders? Could I reserve my weekly bread?Yes, we most certainly do. Please email us (shelforddeli@outlook.com) or talk to one of our team members (01223 846129) and we can arrange this for you. We can reserve orders (bread, cheese, salads, groceries etc.) all ready for you to collect on certain days or as a regular weekly thing.

Do you cater for events?Although we ceased our bespoke catering services back in 2018, we do still prepare our own range of handmade house salads that we sell pre-packed in store. We are happy to make multiples for you to collect from the shop small events, subject to availability. Prices are per portion and there are no discounts for quantity. All Shelford Deli salads and dishes are produced in our 5 star Kitchen at the beating heart of our shop. Our homemade range comes in individual portions as this is how we sell them instore readey to takeaway, but for a larger amount we would put them into large foil takeout trays for you to take home and put into your own dishes. All ingredients and allergens will be on the labels.

Do you serve coffee to takeaway?Although we do sell coffee beans, I'm afraid we no longer serve hot coffee or tea to takeaway. This service ceased when the cafe itself closed in 2020.
-
Are dogs allowed in store? As a food business, I'm afraid although we're all mad about furry friends they are not allowed inside the deli (unless they are an assistance or guide dog) due to our premises food health + hygiene rules.
-
Do you have a cafe or seated area?We no longer have a cafe or seating area and are purely specialist grocery store offering takeout food. We don't serve takeout coffee any longer either - sorry!
