To make its sweets, the Fabbrica del Panforte draws from the past the original recipes of the Sienese confectionery tradition, inherited from the Master Panforte makers. With the awareness that the products of the table are an essential part of the culture and lifestyle of a community, Sienese sweets also represent the distinctive signs of the character of the people of Siena: simple, sincere, original and natural.

Lemon amaretti are soft sweets obtained from the artisanal processing of excellent quality raw materials.

First of all, the almonds, sweet and bitter of Italian origin, mainly from Puglia, soft, tasty and rich in essential oils that characterize their scent. Our soft amaretti are handmade, with top quality lemons.

The lemon candying period lasts almost two weeks to obtain an enveloping flavor and preserve all the aromas of the lemon.

The characteristic bitter aftertaste is instead given by a small quantity of expertly balanced bitter almonds.

Each individual amaretto is formed by hand, then gently browned in the oven, sprinkled with icing sugar which helps to keep it soft inside, cooled and packaged in sealed food-grade trays and then inserted into decorated cardboard boxes.
