To make its sweets, the Fabbrica del Panforte draws from the past the original recipes of the Sienese confectionery tradition, inherited from the Master Panforte makers. With the awareness that the products of the table are an essential part of the culture and lifestyle of a community, Sienese sweets also represent the distinctive signs of the character of the people of Siena: simple, sincere, original and natural.

Dating back to the Middle Ages, Panforte Siena PGI is one of the oldest traditional Sienese desserts, crafted according to the strict regulations set by the association for the protection of ricciarelli and panforte.

This panforte is made from a carefully baked mixture of premium ingredients: flour, candied fruit, almonds, sugar, honey, and aromatic spices. All ingredients are sourced from trusted farms and selected for freshness and quality. The PGI designation ensures rigorous control over the production process while maintaining the use of only the finest ingredients.

The almonds are hand-selected to guarantee superior quality, and the candied fruit is processed using traditional techniques to achieve perfect softness and natural sweetness, resulting in a truly authentic Sienese specialty.
