BLACK URFA CHILLI FLAKES
Origin: Grown in the hills around Urfa, an ancient city in Turkey.
Flavour: Aromatic, deep, smoky warmth with notes of dried fruit and cocoa. Gentle heat.
Black urfa chilli is originally a sweet, red spicy pepper. We love the succulent texture too, versatile ingredient to complement anything. It is classed as a medium heat with a unique flavour which could be likened to the experience of an espresso on a summer’s night.
How to use:
Finish dishes rather than cook with it.

• Grilled lamb, kebabs or aubergine
• hummus, labneh or youghrt dips
