NEW HARVEST TURMERIC
Origin: Salem variety, grown strictly organic way in the Southern state of India, Karnataka.
Flavour: Intense, sweet, fresh + floral flavour with a vibrant colour and strong aroma. This turmeric is irrigated using a special water conservation method, which concentrates its earthy flavour, and is grown alongside sugarcane so it has sweet, fruity notes and a floral aroma. The skin is left on to intensify the flavour, as most turmeric is graded by colour alone this vital part of the plant is usually removed. Shame on them.
How to use:
Cleaner than standard turmeric and not at all bitter.
