Sheridans began developing their signature crackers in 2010, with a clear focus on creating the ideal partner for cheese. They collaborated with Clonakilty-based baker Richard Graham Leigh in Co. Cork to bring the idea to life, resulting in a small-batch, handcrafted range.
At the heart of the collection is the Irish Brown Bread cracker, made using only four traditional Irish ingredients. Buttermilk is included to capture the rich, distinctive flavour associated with classic Irish brown bread, keeping the recipe both simple and authentic.
The range has since been widely recognised within Ireland’s food community, earning the Irish Food Writers’ Guild Producer Award in 2013, as well as the Bridgestone Award for Best New Artisan Product from John and Sally McKenna in 2012.
